I know that a University project should consist of a group of entries that can stand alone but is it possible to do an overview/intro entry that doesn't have much information in it?
I'm working on something that *really* needs an overview page to tie it all together but the page, to avoid duplication of info, won't have much info on it. It will be entertaining but will be short and of limited use in its own right: the proper info will be contained in specific entries.
The start of the overview entry is here: A21286398 and was culled from what would have been the intro to one entry, before the scale of the thing became apparent.

yeah, an intro entry is great
it then sets it apart from a series of entries on related subjects -- example - A9998905

Aha! I looked at a bunch of Uni entries from the Uni help pages but didn't find any with 'intro' pages. You have one! Excellent.
I haven't started this as a Uni entry yet but I think it's obvious that it needs to be one (and an earlier convo here backs this up.)
I'll do the proper Uni page shortly.

you looked up uni entries, but missed the enticing topic of Essex men and the United states?
Shrugs!

The Evolution/Creation project also has an introduction, which is little more than a glossary of the terms used in other Entries in the project: A730522

Argh! Thanks for the link Danny B, but I just lost a large chunk of my life to reading the attached conversation threads!
The_jon_m, I can't imagine how I missed that! My excuse is that it was getting late...

As an introduction it is fine reads well and introduces the subject to the reader.
When the rest of the project is finished you could always add a short guide to the entries.
I look forward to reading the the full work
Bob...
