... if you spend ages looking for something, sit down in frustration for a cup of tea, and the item will often be found somewhere in full view nearby.... yep, recognize that situation very well...
..but what about the creature that keeps knocking inside of my kitchen fan (above my stove) or the one that makes one of my Christmas decorations sway back and forth? (no draught or anything nearby..)???

Oooh, maybe there's some kind of spirit/ghost thing that comes out at Christmas, and wafts around making decorations sway around? I've hung up several baubles that seem to do that for some reason.
And there's something in the wall between my bedroom and our living room... I can hear the occasional click or thump from either room. I think one of the bricks has become sentient, or something.

The noise in the wall is probably a borrowing bogle... they have to have somewhere to hide/live when they're not borrowing stuff

Good idea... BogleCam.com? Hum, but I haven't seen any bogles yet, just a mouse and some marbles I lost...

Well, I'd imagine the Bogles are very stealthy creatures... and will probably avoid being seen. But if you make it a contest to see if someone sees one, and can show you a frame that there's a Bogle in, you may be in business Who knows... this idea leaves much room to be developed

Yes, us ghosts are very active this time of the year.
I promise I'll stop making your decorations sway, but you have to deal with the boggles on your own. I suggest bribery.
