The 300th Edition of The Post

Please raise your glasses to our host,

For once again we find The Post

Is claiming another milestone,

And is now editing its 300th tome.

They have given us lots of poems and stories,

Recipes, jokes and other glories.

The fiction is fun, as are the series.

Our lust for life just never wearies.

We have serious articles too,

There is always something here for you.

There is plenty of space for you to write,

Enter if you think you might.

Come tell us your story, fact or fiction.

It doesn't matter about your diction.

Our friends in The Post will deal with that,

After all, to them, it's all old hat!

Len Baynes, rose-quartz, Captain Slogg,

Do you know how many names are in that blog?

TonsilRevenge, Cal and benjaminmoore,

I think you could give us many more!

KDixonDonnelly, Deaus ex Machina, Evangeline,

And still more names, if you know what I mean.

With Websailor and Terri and Yoda,

as violins play, let Smudger end this coda!

Now it's time for EMR, Titania and Shazz

To get themselves ready and go on the razz;

With Skankyrich, Clive, B'Elana and Reefgirl,

Let's send the 300th Edition out with a whirl!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
