Well unfortunately it's not quite as nice over here, rain, melting snow and fog...but it could be worse...anyway nice to hear that the sun is shining somewhere

Actually I did. I made a lot of pancakes and we had some friends and a big jar of strawberry jam. That is a nice way of spending a weekend, I guess. And then the routine - tiding and scrubing.
I make the pacakes every weekend, sometimes we have guests too. If you'll come to my place any weekend the pancakes and jam or honey are guaranteed.

A cold, yes. But I'm not surprised, people have been coughing and sneezing at me since end of September... I was lucky to avoid it this long...

Here they go - pancakes for everybody! And here's jam, I made it myself last summer. We had lot of strawberries this year.
Titania - if you've caught cold, you should have a tea made of blackcurrants, raspberry canes and marigolds. Or at least with raspberry jam.

Thanks, Hatifnat, but I think I'll mix myself (or visit a bar on my way home) an Irish Coffee later today - or maybe warm up some Glögg - I always found that hot drink with alcohol works fine if you have a cold - or at least makes you feel a bit happier...

I finally got around to buying all the Harry Potter books I could find, in English, started reading the first one on Friday evening, and now I'm halfway into the third one (yes, I am a bibliomaniac)...
...people have been urging me to read them, and I like them!

I didn't want to follow the Harry Potter-mania at first, but then I finally read the first one and it was very nice indeed (though I wouldn't say that there is nothing like it, there are lots of other great children's books out there, too). Actually I got in French first, but then I thought it was too complicated for me, so I read it in English.
