IIEM: hot chocolate, please.

Here you go, Ændr. It's not so hard, really. Lil's been baking a bit and Joanna sends over donuts every day.

ox, I was on the e-mail list for the Starship Titanic web site. When they started developing H2G2 they sent the most hilarious e-mails about aliens trying to make sensible entries about earth. I couldn't resist checking it out when it finally went live. That's why my number is so low.

I don't know, Lintilla. Don't know that I'd hold them to that mil! Anyway, I think I'd best be on my way...I've put things on hold at home for a while and must go see what's up.

See you later!

Lintilla I'm a bit busy for a game at the moment. I am pleased you didn't shoot the piano player though.

Lonnytunes - Winter Is Here

By The Time I Got To Phoenix. Almost all of the first half is played over a thin organ hum, and a lightly snapping hi-hat, as Hayes raps his deep-voiced monologue about "the power of love". It reaches biblical prportions - "seven times he tried to leave her, and seven times he came back!" - before he finally launches into the song itself, and the orchestra soars, and the unbearable tension of the music finally breaks.

It was schtick, it was grandiose, it was absurb - it was so cool, and it remains an epic, a really beautiful piece of music.

Sips tea
