Fortunately, August and September were pretty quiet in the café - quiet enough, in fact, to not alert the Cleaning Bot. I'm sure we all feel relieved about *that*!
As usual, the IIEM (Infinite Improbable Espresso Machine) is residing on the still fairly clean counter, and it will serve you the beverage of your choice (as long as it doesn't contain alcohol). The soup option is still a bit of a hazard.
There's Bumblebee's cookie jar, the Deep Purple Sofa in front of the fire place, the self-playing pianola and the jukebox.
Ook, the blue orangutang, is still waiting for someone to challenge him in scrabble.

*reaches down into the jar and brings out two freshly baked mbougatses and hands one each to Dylan and GDZ*
Matina must have sneaked in here when no one was watching...
Misty morning - again. We've had a lot of these lately, and I was going to share some photos I've taken recently - but when I inserted the picture CD (I get them developped onto a CD) it wasn't mine!
The photos in the envelope are mine, but not the CD - this is the first time anything like this has happened...

Last week, I thought I'd take another picture - that'd be about two weeks after the second photo - but the sun was still below the horizon by that time!
October has, so far, been unusually mild and warm, but last night we had frost, and today temperatures barely above freezing point - and of course this was the day that the heating at my work decided to give up...
