Jannie de Beer

1 Conversation

Overlooked for much of his playing career, Jannie de Beer was on his 12th cap when he produced one of the most astounding feats in a Test Rugby match, scoring five drop goals against England in the 1999 RWC quarter-final in Paris on 24/10/99. The previous record was held jointly by six men, each of whom had scored three drop goals in Tests.
