This article came out late at night, or early morning for me, I cannot remember... I had to re-read it twice. What on earth is a Vice ring? I asked myself... I shortly found out. Margaret MacDonald is a high class pimp running the largest 'Vice Ring' in Europe. It even extends out to Israel and parts of the United States (Las Vegas I would bet...) as well. Apparently she is making around 13 thousand pounds monthly.
I guess she's been quite elusive, using false names and ID's, not staying in one place for to long... but she was caught in Paris, and fined 150,000 Euros and given a four year sentence of jail time. I haven't said this in a while but, 'good job France, about time they do something right! This time, according to reports, she breezed into the courtroom carefree, with her lawyer, waving to friends and making small talk with nice smiles. Also, when she left the courtroom she didn't make any comments... she was probably brooding.
I'm sorry, but that is not a 'way of life'. Vice Rings and gangs are all extortion. Extorting money from the hard workers. That doesn't mean we, as the hard workers, go to people like them but, indirectly, some of our earnings eventually run their way. I'm a firm believer that hard work is the key to success but this does not extend to running a vice ring. It's one step below slavery - in my opinion.
The way they caught her, though, wasn't the most commendable either... a rival vice ring leader tipped-off authorities. I suppose thats how the world works, until people say they won't take it anymore.
I hope she rots in hell those four years... just my opinion... after all, this is Opinion Point!
