*grins at the mention of The Weakest Link*
Such high quality
You should get one of those ones where you just type in a number, they're vaguely easy to use...
The Snug
Menza Posted May 12, 2001
It does that, but I never buy the TV guides that have the videoPlus numbers in them. So it doesn't really help.

Umm...you could wheel a TV into work and pretend it was a new and unique briefcase design and then you'd be able to watch "Days Of Our Lives" without needing to record it

Bagpuss Posted May 14, 2001
Oooh, 28-inches, hark at Mr. La-di-da!
Not that I'm jealous or anything.

I was just pointing out that this would not be a small box. And I could have said 56, but that would just be silly.

Menza Posted May 14, 2001
How to use my video. And I've got a new problem now, How do I record a film on a channel I don't get?
The Snug
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted May 14, 2001
*grins*
I don't actually think you can do that, if you could it would negate the purpose of paying for the channels to start with
By the way Bagpuss, did you get my e-mail? I'm not sure if I sent it to the right address...

You only need to watch "Daze of our Lies" on Fridays. The rest of the week is just a build-up to the cliff hanger on Friday.

Are you a fan then? I haven't seen it for two weeks what's happening now? The last I saw was the coronation in Paris you see...
*looks suspiciously at Ian*
Where you watching TV then?
The Snug
Britwannabe {......... } Posted May 15, 2001
A fan? Well, sort of... I watch it every day--- backwards at 32X normal speed. It takes two minutes to watch it that way.(at 4 am

IanG Posted May 15, 2001
*looks shifty*
Me watching TV? I, err,
*hides TV behind sofa*
I don't even have a TV!

Hah! The licence fee people are weeds. You should see what happens when you don't pay your council tax.
Tink, yes I did get your email.

Bagpuss Posted May 16, 2001
According to the LUU Grad Ball adverts, the student life should include 5 council tax court summonses, so I feel righteous only having had one. It's not as if we're meant to pay anyway.
