Why is it that between and in red it is saying 'missing closing bracket in tag perhaps you have missed a closing quote'Please help this is what I have put?

The closing tag you are missing is after BGCOLOR="#9966FF" and before



try that and let us know if there are any more problems

You may also need to put a space in after each instruction such

Tried it but now it is telling me in red between the "100" and width that I don,t have the required white space? but it solved the first problem .Help please

looks like you posted at the same time as my last one

The white space means you need to put a space after each direction ie color , text size etc.

Copy the guideml in my last post and that should sort that. You may want to check that you have put a space in the rest of any code you are using on your page. It does tend to flag up one problem at a time.

Don't forget to close the tags too, ie

Hello I am back and about to give it another go I can hardly wait to find out what I am going to get wrong nextWill probably have some more questions to ask soon.

I think the most frustrating thing is that once you find a problem and fix it then it tells you another one!!

I remember once writing a hugely complicated page with tables within tables and various odd twiddly bits (for what looks in reality a very straightforward page) and yelling and yelling because I was looking for one it felt I had missed out

What 'skin' are you using?

In Brunel alot of the tags are shortcutted, so all you have to do is click on the button for italics, bold underline, link etc and it will automatically do the coding for you.

You can change your skin in the 'preferences' option (shorcut link is <./>UserEdit</.&gt

I often use that for skin for editing only and then return to my favourite - classic goo
