Is it possible to set up an entry that anybody can add to, or do you have to add their IDs to the Researcher list?

Unfortunately you can only add their researcher numbers to the list but even then only YOU can actually edit the entry.

Adding IDs won't help. You have to start with a joint/public account. There *are* some of those but the *most* public (billboard advertising) one had trouble with people abusing its ID/page.
