Charlotte was thrilled when we took her out of school. She liked some of the children in her class, but not much else; she isn't a child to take kindly to being bored much of the day, and I don't see why she should be asked to put up with it. She was way too advanced for Reception, really, and since she can still see her schooled friends after school hours the only thing she says she misses occasionally is school dinners. My cooking isn't up to scratch, apparentlysmiley - sadface.

Well thats good then. I finished my work early in physics today and started doodling on my arm!

I wouldn't like to be bored all day either, you can't concentate afterwards I find.

you should teach charlotte to cook and then she could cook you food!smiley - biggrin

She's only eight, and very small for her age. She does actually cook fairly well, but only under supervision because it gives me kittens seeing her using the stove which is chest high to her. I only hope she doesn't lose her enjoyment of cooking before she's big enough to really help that way - she used to love trying to tidy and clean when she was a toddler, but sadly she grew out of that.smiley - laugh
