Chris Morris - 'The Most Loathed Man on TV' (wip)

Find out exactly what to think.

- Chris Morris, Brass Eye, 1996

If you ever find yourself watching aghast as another news or current affairs programme degenerates into a haze of flashy graphics, sensationalist headlines and under-researched celebrity sound-bites, you'd be wise to steer clear of 'The Day Today' and 'Brass Eye', probably the most famous works by satirist Chris Morris. His mid 1990s parodies could be templates for genuine contemporary television journalism.

Born in Bristol, England, 15 June 1962, Chris Morris studied Zoology at university but, upon leaving, dived into the world of radio.
