Snap!

I climbed Carrauntuohill a couple of years ago and I wrote about it (A684669) - it might bring back some memories.

Kerry is a beautiful place, but so too is the north Antrim coast. It's on my travel itinerary in the coming years.

Take care,

W

Thank you! Do give us a shout when you get round to doing the Antrim Coast - we'll happily be tour guides/ meet for a pint/ provide accommodation / whatever!

And vice-versa! I might just take you up on that offer one day! I absolutely love Kerry. It's a wonderful county, and I'd go there at the drop of a hat. West Cork is not too bad either. Sometimes I think I live in a lovely part of the world, but when you are in a big city, you sometimes forget how pretty this island it is.

When I worked in Belfast many years ago, I had a colleague who used to drive from Belfast straight to Caherciveen on the Iveragh peninsula (and back again) for the weekend once every two weeks. Nearly killed him!
