h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Can't make the meet. I've not been about much on hootoo recently for one reason or another, but Granny Weatherwax alerted me to the upcoming event with a text. I didn't respond straight away, because I was after a ticket for City v Arsenal away, and I didn't know if I had enough loyalty points on my season card to get one. Turns out I have, so I get to schlep down to London to watch my beloved team get turned over, when I could be bowling and eating curry with you guys. Probably the wrong decision, but there you go, I'm pretty passionate about my footie - it's an addiction, you know.

Still, posting this here to let you all know,

P'raps Granny still has me on paper and I can attend vicariously - if not, I can be emailed!

How about we collect photos/self portraits from all the wannabe atendees and using one of those new funky hand held printers (that are a bit like the old hand held scanners, so you can print directly onto almost anything) and print _them_ onto the loo rolls?

I've booked half a day off work, I'm about to see if the Castlefield has rooms free, barring health reasons or too much snow for Virgin Rail, I'll be there!

Which summer meet? There's roughly at 98% chance I'll be at the next London meet, because I go to most of them. You could always come to the next Scottish meet...
