Duplicate (almost) Guide Entry
LL Waz Started conversation Jul 24, 2000
I had a guide entry which I submitted and then edited again. Last week the original version reappeared on my homepage without an edit button. The new version still exists, I had a link to it somewhere else on the homepage, but I can't edit it from there.
I know why it's happened, long story, but it really ought to be the new version that's listed under the guide entries section. And I would like to be able to edit it. Can you help?
The new version is A326071, the old one A397181, 'tho that looks like a later number.

Sorry for the delay in answering this - when an entry is added to the edited Guide the original remains on your page. If you wish to edit an article that has been edited you should add revisions to a thread off the article and alert a sub-editor. Edited guide entries can only be amended centrally.
Hope that helps.

I'm sorry to pester but is it really part of the edited guide? I'd love it if it was ( 's hopefully) but there isn't an editor's name on the newer version 'tho there is on the old one. It doesn't come up on a search of edited entries either.
It was an entry given to a sub editor who has since given up sub editing. And the original entry came back to my homespace listed as a recommended entry.
Maybe its all in a pipeline somewhere in which case please ignore all this. I wouldn't bother anyone with the changes I had in mind, they were minor.
