I DONT KNOW IF I'M IN THE CORRECT PLACE FOR HELP
I'M TRYING TO PUT SMILEYS IN A BOX IN MY SPACEIVE GOT EVERYTHING DOWN AS I WAS TOLD BUT IT KEEPS COMING BACK WITH ----ONLY ONE TOP LEVELELEMENT ALLOWEDIN AN XML DOCUMENT -----WHAT AM I DOING WRONG PLEASE BRORA

Hi! The best place for help is the <./>Feedback</.> pages, but i will try to help here, anyway. What entry are you trying to put the smileys on? Your Introduction? Are you trying to use GuideML? The error sounds to me like you have 2 lots of or tags at the top and/or bottom, and nothing actually to do with simileys at all. If you copy and paste the entire GuideML for the entry it won't accept here, i will try and help more.

Hi Brora.
I've just checked your space. It was Dave (U206449) who sent you the TABLE information and you've just not quite copied it correctly. The original was:
Your smiley codes are here,
and after them type this:-
where a smiley code would be: <SMILEY TYPE="dragon"/>
So you've put an exclamation mark in place of the number 1 for the BORDER value and an equals sign instead of the closing quote on CENTER.

Yeah, that should help. If it still doesn't work copy and paste the *entire* guideML here, the error message doesn't always display near the problem.

PS Can you not type in BLOCK CAPITALS please? It is taken on here as shouting, which isn't what you mean.

i'm really a quiet person
i'll try again after my visitors have been gggrrr
and i'll let youknow how i get on i'm really just a learner and i hate to be beat i also hate bothering people but its the only way to learn everyone is so nice in here yourself jncluded so i promise i wont shout at you again
