Futurama has to be the best show that FOX ever made. OK, so that's a matter of opinion, but given how well supported all the fan sites are, and seeing as the last series on DVD currently has a preorder rank of 2 on Amazon.co.uk (in other words, it's the second most popular thing to preorder at the moment, and there's still over a month until it is released), it's pretty obvious that it's very popular, and it follows that it's very profitable. So why have FOX cancelled it (as well as a number of their other popular programs)? Can anyone give a reason?
If you are a high ranking person in the FOX corporation, and played any part in the ceasing of Futurama, I hope a hideous tropical disease renders you eternally sterile, incapable of infecting the future of the world with your failed and worthless genes.
