Deadpool is a marvel character. He is a mercanery that was part of the Weapon X program in Canada. (those evil Canadians) This program left him horribly misfigured, but on the good side he gained a healing factor that allows him to take quite a beating. The reason Deadpool is such a great character is because of his sadistic sence of humor that will leave you laughing after almost every page.
