Maybe you would like an input to this entry, crazyhorse? My experience has been in the UK. I'm aware that there are different traditions, although there are common elements.

Zarquon's Singing Fish!

I've been to a lot of camps that offer sweat lodges, although it is part of a larger programme, for instance, the Peace through the Arts camp, the Unicorn Camp and those organised by Trackways.

There is a website for UK peace dancing camps - I'll look some links out:

http://www.unicorncamps.com/other-camps.htm - a gentle camp

http://www.cam.net.uk/home/Nimmann/dances/details.htm

http://www.cam.net.uk/home/nimmann/dances/ - I know Ralph and can recomend the PTA camp (whatever it's been renamed these days)

http://wahaba.home.sprynet.com/dances,ritual.html - I've met Wahaba and given her and her daughter lifts.

Once I've worked more on the entry, you are welcome to comment. I think they're definitely a spiritual experience, as opposed to a religious one.

Ah, I didn't realise (and I'm not quite sure what a digibox is). If you are interested, maybe you could access the net via an internet cafe?

And yes, I'm well aware of the reverence that the First Nations people have for the sweats.
