I suppose i cant really speak to well about it,

(having never been on a diet)

But a diet that you dont eat bread, potatoes, bananas.....

What do you eat????

I believe a healthy diet and exercise does the trick

Meat ,fish, vegetables, cheese etc.. then after that (with the soouth beach anyway) you can have brown bread, brown rice etc..

Its just sort of a kick start to get a bit off...and believe me i need to!

You eat quite alot actually (I presume you are talking about the Atkins)

And just in favour of that particular diet, if you follow it through properly you go back to eating carbs once you have lost weight. Problems occur when people go very low carb during the induction period and then carry on when they see how much weight they've lost.. *tut tut*

With th south beach diet you CAN have carbs after the first 2 weeks..just 'good' carbsonly..ie wholemeal stuff rather than normal..and nothing else is restricted much..(from what ive read so far). Some people are saying its better than the Atkins, thats why i asked about it.

The trouble is that people have no will power. Pure and simple, everyone makes a choice as to what they put in their mouths, its not like anyone is *force fed* unhealthy foods is it?

The whole word (including me) will stay fat until they can say no!

Diet smiet. I'm moveing to Egypt where they love the 'cuddly women' smiley - winkeye
