Ahhh. You know me better. But I would in fact be happy to help. I was thinking about what it would take to make it an entry. If each name was fleshed out even by a sentence it might make for the biggest entry ever here. One possiblity would be to ask that it be accepted as it is. It truly is a web entry, the links speak for themselves. I wonder if the rules could be bent?

I intended it more as a fun resource for Canadians to link to when having debates with others. I never intended it to be more than a never ending hobby.

Now that I've finished my grumpiness I'd like to tell Mosey that I'll be taking into account the corrections and additions the next time I get back to the entry (and Mosey9 will be added to the researcher list).
Isn't Douglas Cardinal Cree?

Actually, I just checked: Douglas Cardinal seems to be Metis and Blackfoot.

I'm pretty sure Neil Young isn't Cree.
Like I said, this entry's a hobby. I'll get to all these suggestions after I've had a little more rest.

Cult snooker legend Big Bill Werbeniuk (A1032058) was huge in the UK in the 80s (in fact he was pretty big all round, but that's another story) as were fellow snookeristas Kirk Stevens and Cliff Thorburn (I think Cliff is the only player from outside the British Isles to have won the World Championship).
Ski-ers Steve Podborski, Ken Read and Todd Brooker also achieved a certain amount of fame this side of the pond.
