It was unfair...

I do not blame greg for the out burst when some one from the crowd shouted out

It is a very seriouse event not a game in a park or messing about on a practise court

That point should have been re played and who ever it was kicked
out of wimbeldon

And now a 15,00 pound fine i am afride i would refuise to pay it and take a hearing and argue the point that it should have been replayd becouse some one in the crowd is not hired to humpire the
match or be a lines person

i wrote the column largely before the game- yes, the point should have been called a let, as McEnroe said on the BBC commentary, as there was a clear distraction- even Roddick sympathised with Rusedski afterwards.

However, it was not a significant point, and as Rusedski is normally level headed the way he allowed one point to affect his game was absolutely astonishing and unprofessional. And I think he deserved his fine, as an audible obscenity *IS* against ATP and All England club rules, as all players must adhere to. If Rusedski wre allowed to escape a fine merely because the decision on the point was absolutely abysmal then it would be grossly unfair on all the players who have to put up with fines. Rusedski himself has admitted his behaviour was wrong, and the fines are generally paid to charity.

well thats not to bad as long as it is not going to the fat cat`s

who get paid far to much then ask for 40/50 pay hikes

I have desided with the lack of rugby league reports to take matter`s into my own hand`s and throw some thing together for you

reports and i know you have very very little time with the other stuff you have to do...

Thats fare enough not sure about you but it anoyes me when you talk to some one say rugby for a instence some on come`s allong and think`s there the word athority on it and they know nothing

I much rather some one say i dont know about rugby save`s time you controdicting every thing they say and boardom as well

Any good tip`s for doing a half desent job on my report

well, for an individual match, i would say the only definite things to include would be the score, number of trid, and maybe main points scorers. Other than that, just randm trivia and things that took your fancy.

Or, for a more general rugby league update, I would suggest a look at the teams up top in the playoff places, and how they stand in regard to each other, and ditto for the relegation battle.


I would be happy to accept either (hell,i'm happy to accept any offer which allows me to write less )
