One of the ideas is: "enable articles to have a geographical location associated with them, and create a pleasant (graphical?) way of navigating to geographical areas of the Guide to complement the current categorisation system."
The Researchers' Map (A5076614) uses http://www.mapservices.org/myguestmap/ to place markers showing where researchers are located. Is there scope here to do a similar thing with entries? Not sure how well it would work for entries on whole countries, though, seeing as you can only place markers at a single point.
