So werekitty, is it a plan? Are you going to get your own regiment? If so I would like to join! I would like to be in Fighters-Heavy Taskforce. I am a werecat/wolf remember? Well I guess if all goes through then I will tell Rimmer and Spook that I will be transfering over here. I would like to tell you that I am in control of the ARRU (Armed Rapid Responce Unit) so I am always ready for battle. I would also like to become second in command of this regiment if that is okay with you and Spook. Considering I am HARRU and first person to join this regiment. Well write back with further information. Adios werekitty.

you can't just tranfer Gangorlas - you have to request a transfer. And it doesn't matter anyway since everyone will be recalled then sent out. If you wish to be a part of this regiment then i'll see if i can arrange it when i sort the regiments.

Reporting for duty (please don't hurt me, I've applied to be a werebeastie). Anyway, as I said on the werebeastie page I wish to be in the aqua taskforce.

And Gangorlas - You're in Heavy.

Before i appoint SiC (second in command) etc. I'll need the rules on it all. And for that Spook needs to write them.
I'm not sure how much independant power I'm getting. I may be able to promote/demote, I may not.

I think he said yesterday that he was drawing them up. I remember because Rimmer was asking for them to have long numbers so he could quote them.

Deus ex Machina {trying to keep in shapes}

I'd personally like to be in the aerial taskforce, seeing I am a flying creature of sorts....

really? What are you?

Sure. I'll stick you in aerial right away.

I think cool missions'll have to wait until the end of the week though... all the reshuffling after the change of command.

There are two things that I think that I would be good at: Medium Fighters and Infiltration.

The Average Joe No One EVER Suspects

The orgins of the phrase "deus ex machina" refer to ancient greek theatre. When a writer had written himself into a corner, so to speak, or when the hero needed help, the gods would have been called down to intervene. This was usually done by lowering an actor from above the stage with a winch. The winch, being a machine, and the actor portraying a god gives the phrase "god from the machine." Hence, he would be a flying creature, of sorts.

Can I be a were-gorilla?

Up to Major without needing permission
and up to Colonel with permission

anything over that and you'll probably have a regiment of your own.
