No Plubs!

Hello, I wish to join this fantastic crusade.
This is my rant: Have you ever tried pubs with no music *at all*? Just the sound of fellow drinkers speaking and mugs tinkling?
Peace and pints.

It happened again tonight
Was in a pub that is usually relatively quiet, music wise... and then at about 10oclock NOISENOISENOISE! Not even a subtle rising of volume, just the knob being turned from the 9-1 position immediately..
Everone looked round disgruntled.. and then that was replaced by a look of resignation, after all who can be bothered moving pub at this time?
Apathy reigns!
This is a weird pub with many levels and bars, so finding the culprit who turned up the music wasn't going to be easy. As i already have a bit of a reputation for being argumentitive, and the people i was with fully expected me to start on a rant... i decided to shock and surprise them by doing nothing
Apathy over taking me as well... or was it the few pints of and measures of whiskey....
The only thing that made it bearable was the fact that the sound system was actually of a very high audio quality, and despite the volume, it was actually fairly easy to talk over- quite a smooth 'hi-fi' sound that wasn't screaching hi-pitched treble at my ears.
So If you must play it loud, get a ferking decent sound system, and then we at 'no plubs' will perhaps consider only destoying your plub with light explosives.. we'll graciously leave you the foundations (after first confiscating the music sytem of course

That is disgraceful. How dare they! Thats the worst kind of plub incident - they lure you in under the pretense of the establishment being a pub and then they spring it on you - its actually a plub.
Key: Complain about this post
