What do you think of the slogans and campaign names so far? Got any favourites?

Oh there was one... 'CANRA' or somefink that was excellent, but as they always say when they're judging competitions for kids.. (adopt patronising voice)"the standard of the entries has bee sooo high that it has been very difficult to choose a winner" (they are usually lying)

But in this case the slogans and campaign names have been mostly excellent. Guess i should make a greater contribution myself though, eh

By the way, what kind of a pub is this anyway?- i've been nursing this for 6 days now, and while i do like to take my time over a pint, and enjoy it in peace. This is just ridiculous

I fear the campaign is dying a slow death. Oh well, we tried I guess.

Maybe we should formulate a recruitment plan for one final push? And if that doesn't work, I fear the page will just sit here for all eternity, collecting moss.

Yeah- it has gone a little quiet... i think what happens with these things, is that everyone who has an interest, posts straight away, but once they've said their piece, there's kinda not much else to say on the topic...

Someone summed it up when they said that it's mostly down to the barstaff. I think they maybe right- we could probably write to breweries till we were blue in the face, but if bored bar staff want to turn up the music to disco levels- what can we do but leave or complain (which of course gets you branded an ol fogey, but who gives a sh**)..

We shouldn't pack it in yet though- remember, not every hootooer is online every day- i think we'll still get imput from latent 'no plubs!' recruits

If everyone just left the bar, then they'd soon get the message. I think it is down to the landlords/ladies rather than the bored bar staff, after all they are paid to pull pints.

I agree! Damn them to hell.

Must run- local pub here has local radio station broadcasting live from it this afternoon

Unfortunately the station concerned is of the pap music variety whilst the pub usually isn't Ah well taping it anyway- will be a few familiar voices!
