Here's some things that I have learnt...

- Don't set yourself a deadline. Every time I do this, I end up panicking if I haven't finished it by the exact date and I give up. Do it at whatever pace your feel comfortable!

- Don't worry about what it looks like too much. Ok, give it a theme and work on it but don't take ages on the look. If a fanzine does it's job properly (to entertain readers), the look of it won't be that much of a big deal.

- For music fanzines: If you want interviews with various bands, contact their PR company. If they don't send back questionaires, keep sending them and if they never send them back, have a go at them in your fanzine. It's their job to be nice to fans, especially if you're giving them free press. If they do send it back and you do get an interview, free gigs, CD's, videos and much more end up on your door. But don't do a fanzine just for free stuff, you end up becoming a groupie! smiley - smiley

I'll post more when they come to me...
