As long as the Post Editors leave it in it's original form it's not supposed to be so broken up like that, it's supposed to read like a chapter of a book

....how come you didn't do your own editing ? It still reads ok mind you and the breaks don't distract....or this that because I read it in its original form before ? In which case I'll have to wait until teh next bit.

I DID edit my own piece but the editorial staff discided to make substantial changes because it didn't fit house style which I hasten to add no-one told me about. The original form of the story reads like a book with no big line breaks. I think what really pissed me off was the fact that Shazz and emr took the decision to make these chances without having the manners to inform me first, if I hadn't have looked at this page on thursday I would have gone on my merry way editing it and Knolly the way I always did and I would have had no idea that they wanted me to make changes

That's one of the reasons I format Escape Pod Dreams the way I do, with the page on the Post only being an index to a series of short entries.
Sometimes, when I write a novella, the entries become chapters.

Anyway I think I'm on a losing streak on this one, I'm writing the whole thing on an Apage anyway so if anyone wants to read it in it's condensed version can do so there

Very good, but I wonder if I'm going to have to watch some Stargate Atlantis to follow this.

As for the editing, I don't think it really works using the tags - the new line isn't indented.

I think you've got a while before we get Tennant's actual performance to compare it with.

Rose is the only character I can really judge you on. She seemed to be laughing and giggling more than anyone actually would, but then I remembered what she's like in the show and decided you were exactly right.

The new series should be starting soon, I thought I might have overdone the Rose laughing but then I've been watching the ninth doc this weekend and I didn't realise how much she did life

The front page of the DW site hasn't been updated since christmas, this time last year it was being update virtualy everyday

Last time I looked it was still Attack of the Graske, so they have updated.
