I'd like to put "Travel Virgins" into the Travel category in 'The Universe' please.
The idea came to me whilst standing on a street corner in Honolulu, suddenly wondering whether this was what I imagined standing on a street corner in Honolulu to be like.

Alas ~ this is not edited guide material, but it could be a belter for ASKH2G2.
I know exactly what you're talking about though, and if you really want this edited you could change the title to -say - Travel, Reality Vs Expectations, then list a few examples bung in some relevent platitudes - Tis better to travel than to arrive - travel broadens the mind etc.
I also recall when I lost my virginity - It was Christmas 1969 and I was on a ski-ing holiday in Austria. We went to Vienna for the day crossing over the River Danube. - It was a filthy muddy brown. 
Not blue at all.

It ain't at all. Could you please remove this from PR Researcher 224465? Hmm, this Researcher hasn't posted now in four weeks. Hope s/he comes back. The idea for this was fun and in the right place it could get to a wider audience.
Not Peer Review material, thoug.
