Here's one that won't take a moment to read. I trust that if it's too silly for the EG this will be pointed out to me - don't worry, my feelings won't be hurt.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jun 16, 2006
"The Scouts have little patience for Researchers who submit unsuitable entries to PR, and whatever joke or one-liner you may think would be hilarious if put into PR and the EG, they've seen it all before. Trust me on that one."

Recommend a move back to entry. Any seconders?

Just one niggle, though...could you perhaps put a few < br/ >'s between the text and footnote? I believe it's appropriate in this case.

Thanks for that Xantief - I got the idea for this after remembering how a friend reported how pleased they were after ordering 'atomic pie' from a greek menu when the waiter returned with a very very very small piece.
I'll be happy to add 's while I wait to see if the entry becomes subatomic, as it were.

Well, I think that if A18541 is allowed in the Guide, then this should be as well.
It is quite and well within the spirit of hootoo.

Let's see now.
Potted Writing-Guidelines
1. Write about reality
2. Be original
3. Fill in the gaps in the Guide
4. Plan your entry
5. Write about what you're interested in
6. Research your entry thoroughly
7. Be instructive, informative and factual
8. Write in your own style
9. Try to make your entry balanced
10. Don't try too hard to be funny
11. Write Entries of appropriate length
12. Avoid writing in the first person
13. Try to use good spelling and grammar
14. Do not copy from other sources
The only one I think it fails on is 7 - it's not very informative.

I'm glad a few people enjoyed the brief appearance of this one. It will just have to remain unedited, but not unseen. (btw, if it were unobserved, would it exist?)
