The Psycho Chicken -- self respect intact

Er. Thanks for that thoughtful and insightful post on the subject of r'n'b. My life is enriched for it....

Menatime, r'n'b. Yeah, when did r'n'b become aggressive? r'n'b to me is motown type stuff, otis redding, marvin gaye etc. Not bleedin' Mis-Teeq, who are a complete assault on the senses from what I can work out. Sure that voice is impressive, but it's not exactly pleasant to listen to is it?

smiley - chick

Not sure I'd have categorised the 'Stones as r'n'b, although I admit to not really being able to define it properly. The Stones have always been rock and roll to me - a genre certainly rooted in the blues, and with very definate rhythm smiley - erm

"It's only rock and roll, but I like it.." smiley - winkeye
