Found myself sitting on the train the other night tearing out a tiny article. I didn't want to take the whole paper home, but did want to share the little article with the people at work.

Apparently a WWII vet, in Glen Falls, NY, spent three years going through hundreds of library books crossing out swear words! He was charged with criminal mischief. smiley - laugh

When I was a teenager we had a library staffer who used to take a pen and draw clothes on the 'heathens'in the National Geographic magazines so the kids wouldn't have to see 'that filth'. Apparently she got away with it for several years before the library board found out about it and put a stop to it. Incredible.
