For an article, replace A with test. For a personal space, replace U with testuserpage. That's all there is to remember! smiley - biggrin

If you want to see the GuideML for an article, for example A970742, replace the 'A' with 'test' to give <./>test970742</.>.

Alternatively, to view the GuideML of a personal space, for example U203385, replace the 'U' with 'testuserpage' to give <./>testuserpage203385</.>.

It's very useful smiley - biggrin

ah... and *all* this time i've been wading through truckloads of source code... they don't *look* like all that much when you're using notepad, but when you open 'em using word or wordpad, they seem to exceed the number of atoms in the known universe...

That's true - that one post alone got me onto the 'Longest postings' section of <./>info</.> for a few hours. smiley - biggrin

I always thought you knew about the Test Page function. I believe I made an indirect reference to it once, and you seemed to know what I was talking about.
Um, about the microbe I'm to adopt. I don't really know which one to pick. I've always been fond of Yersinia Pestis, but maybe I want one that isn't all evil. Any ideas?

oh and by the way... would you like a *live* yersinia pestis, or would you prefer an *attenuated* one? only there might be a bit of a wait, because i'm having a little difficulty getting the microbes to reproduce... smiley - erm

Yes. You wouldn't want it to get lonely. A pet rat would be nice company, wouldn't it?

I'd mostly been avoiding this thread/forum because I'm still in dispute with the BBC staff over some microbes and didn't know how far the conspiracy spread. I agree that microbes deserve more respect/awareness. That basic problem of ignorance is what underlies the dispute. smiley - sadface

If it helps any, I've already got some microbes. smiley - ill
