I've recently read the book "Stonehenge" by bernard cornwell, author of sharpe. I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that it's a brilliant book. As with all of cornwell's books its been written using a lot of research and draws a very good picture of the people of the time.

It tells a story behind the building of stonehenge, fictional of course. Its a good read for anyone interested in Stonehenge and i would thoroughly recommend it smiley - ok

p.s I'm not an advertisor, just a fan smiley - biggrin

Gnomon - time to move on

Sounds good. I love fictional stories that evoke a sense of history (or prehistory).
