when the bbc took over the website they had a small number of smileys.
someone noted that noticably absent was a towel smiley.
It took over a year and a grass roots movement called the Society for the Addition of A Towel Smiley before the editors would address this ommission by adding a towel smiley

That's terrible! Do you realise what that means? You lost a part of yourself! Imagine you can't find your arm; it would be the same.

Found my towel, although I had taken the precaution of buying a new one, just in case.

I took my towel on vacation this year. It really did prove to be amazingly useful!

I took my new towel on hoiday and it didn't enjoy it...too hot.
My old towel was jealous.
I will take my old towel in future.
