Too polite.
azahar Posted Mar 22, 2003
hi wrinkled,
In fact, one can be TOO POLITE. I have nothing at all against being polite - in fact, most people could learn a bit more about how to do this properly. Being polite is stating the facts in a polite and unaggressive manner, without trying to be insulting in any way.
Being TOO POLITE is not saying what you want to say, even though you are gritting your teeth and DYING to say SOMETHING which often ends up with situations getting totally misunderstood and out of hand.
Perhaps what you call 'too nice' is what I call 'too polite'. So I shall politely ask for your indulgence to indulge me in calling this 'too polite'.
If not, I'll punch you in the face!!!! hahaaaaha
(sorry, weird sense of humour - please politely forgive me!)
