I like the guild page.
True story. We're going to renovate our building and put an addition on the rear. A city councilman asked, "So, what are you going to do, then? Build a building and fill it full of books?"

Thank heavens for that! I know we are 'two nations separated by a common language' (or words to that effect) but no matter how many times I read your last posting I couldn't make sense of it. Even worse, you had a reply from someone who apparently could make sense of it!

Hi, Fog Plaiter. We have a city councilman who is doing everything he can to block the expansion of our library building. He has never been a library user, and he was asking if the reason we want a bigger building is to fill it full of books. Well, since a library is a building full of books, (among other things, of course), I thought it was a pretty dumb question. Hope I was easier to understand this time.
