This edited version seems to be based on the first version I posted which was non-GuideML. I see the first person section has been italicized to remove it from the body where I was informed that first person was not allowed and so deleted it. I like having it still there as it adds a little background but I can live without it. Oddly most of the changes mirror the changes I made myself when I changed to GuideML so of course I think they are great. I did add a common splivitch that I had omitted, that being a "splivitch for hesitation" this happens regularly when one of the players simply looses focus and can't recall the correct response the greater the ingestion of brain fogging substances the more this occurs of course. If you have not seen the second, GuideML, version I would ask that you have a look.
Thanks so much for the input and effort.

Hi Harry
Glad you like most of the changes! Can you give me a link to your updated version, so I can incorporate your other changes into the Edited Entry.

Well somewhere in cyberspace there exists a copy of my entry that I spent a pleasant hour converting to GuideML and generally touching up. The bad news is that I have no idea what happened to it once I pushed the Post Message. The good news is that the entry edited here by Danny B is very much like my own version. My most significant edit was the addition of the "Splivitch for Hesitation" that so often occured when our befuddled minds simply could not decide on the correct response, a sort of Zoom,Schwartz block as it were. Half a dozen faces stare at you in anticipation of your stunning repost to having cunningly exchanged schwatzes three times running and all you can do is stare blankly about wondering where your mind has gone.
You might include the Mongolian Mouth Mumbles splivitch so kindly contributed. Not a splivitch that we used in my area but I certainly recognize the nature of the offence.
I also gave recognition to the variations in actual play words apparently used by other afficiandos. Any words would do of course so the game may have been Phloink, Blintz, Onailgifep in other parts of the English speaking world.
Thanks again for the attention.
P.S. The title is a great improvement. Simple and says it all.

OK... I've added your extra bits and pieces. If you're happy with it, I'll send it back to the Editors and it'll hit the Front Page in a few weeks

Excellent work Danny B. I didn't realize I got a say in the final draft. I suspected it was rather like having your work edited at newspaper. You submit the results of weeks sweating over the exact word in each sentence of each paragraph on each page only to find the entire thing reduced to three disjoint sentences trimmed so as not to intefere with the shoe sale advert. on the same page. Well alright I put much less than weeks of effort into the entry... well hours anyway and I am quite attached to several of the words. Anyway, it looks great as is and I am floored by the link to Party Games from last year that includes what I thought was a very obscure game. Just goes to prove what a small world it really is.

Whether or not you get a say depends on the style of the subeditor. Some like to check with the author, some prefer to go ahead and submit it straight away.
Anyway, glad you approve - I'll send it back to the Editors now and it should probably hit the Front Page shortly after New Year!
