Loved this. Thanks.
My favourite Izzard is about cats having no thumbs. It's so simple and explains such a lot. That's why cat's don't rule the universe (and dogs, come to think of it).

If they don't have thumbs, how can they operate the pneumatic drills behind the sofa?

Well scientists have been pondering that one for years of course. Not helped by the fact that the cats will never use the pneumatic drills when being observed directly.
Just one of life's little miracles really.
