A Conversation for Does Using Chopsticks Make Chinese Food Taste Better?

Personally I'm committed to my chopsticks and won't be moved ... and the food definitely does taste better that way. An odd phenomenon - I'd also stake my reputation on the fact that bread (and most particularly the baguette) tastes better when ripped rather than cut - I can, however proffer no explanation. Sorry

re: baguettes.... croissants taste much better as well when ripped. There's nothing worse than one that's been sliced in half! Urgh....
