Remember This?

Do your vegetables look like that? Paulh's do, he's been bragging on them. We've got some promising peppers, but the green beans were few and far between. And although Sneak Zucchini onto Your Neighbour's Porch Day has come and gone for this year, we'd still like to see your produce. If you have veggies to display, let's have 'em. You know our email address. (And yes, those are 'really' called courgettes, but 'Sneak courgettes' doesn't have the same ring to it, now, does it?)

As another follow-up from last week's agricultural extravaganza, Tavaron has kindly sent us photos and facts about Austrian farmhouses. They're beautiful! You'll enjoy this virtual tour, and if you've been to the region, the images will bring back memories.

Ah, memories. That's what Create's September Challenge is all about. As El Gallo, the unreliable narrator of The Fantasticks, says, 'Try to remember the kind of September when…' Can you do that? Do you have a memorable September to share? Write it up, draw it, sing about it, send photos. We'd love to travel down memory lane with you. To get you thinking, we've got a quiz on memorable September events of the past. As the month progresses, we'll have other weird September-related tales to share. September: the numinous month. Even if it doesn't spell the end of the world this time. (Yes, they're at it again, and yes, we've got the story. The Truth is Out There, as always.)
