I think the trick is to find an interesting subject that doesn't already have a lot of other pages previously 'out there' on the web - this Entry fulfils both categories. Googling 'listener crossword' now brings your Entry to page 2, I anticipate it to rise higher next week.

Plus your style of writing always intrigues the reader and leads them on through the text - which I can see by the average time people spend reading the Entry itself.

Yes, I picked up yesterday's crossword to try, and it wasn't too difficult to get to grips with the setup of it, which is helpful for my first attempt. I'm not used to the cryptic clue style, though, so it is challenging but I'm impressed by how well I've done so far

I liked the clue "On stage (3)". It has two perfectly good solutions. That's unusual in a cryptic clue.
