Have not read "Fifty Shades". But had many delightful moments with "The Story of O". The first half of the book, anyway. Way back in about 1965. . .. ... ........................................ . .. . .. ...

Nothing new under the sun, and I gather that the Story of O is rather better all round than Shades.
It's on my list...

HI Sol, If you Googled it you know to be prepared for chains and submission. As I remember I did not like a secondary character, Stephen, I think, and then skimmed through. I liked the ending. Fitting! Probable? . .. ... ,,,,,,,,,,, , . .. ...

I remember the film. We went to see it in a German cinema.
It seemed to be quite the date movie that year. At least in Germany...
I enjoyed it much more than 'Emmanuelle', though I had to keep poking Elektra to keep her from giggling. She does that during French films, as well.

True... Though, as a confession, the 'erotic fiction' I have read, I found all a bit... err.... tame for my liking can be good though... just for a change
OH, and I did have a look, and the streaming audiobook site I use, does indeed have it (I pay a yearly subscription to listen to as many as I want so don't have to pay per book; handy for starting to read soemthign and deciding I hate it, a few pages in) I'll add it after I've finished err... whatever it is I'm reading at the moment
