A Conversation for The Ancient Olympic Games

It certainly is a beautiful place. Next time I will try and ensure it's in the Spring... but I consider myself lucky to have been there at all.
I found a stone with markings on, but I hadn't any idea what to do with it so I replaced it where I found it. It never occurred to me to take it to the museum!
There were lots of pine-like cones which had turned to stone. I did bring one of those home, as they probably pre-dated even Olympia.
Lovely photo on the entry too, thanks Gnomon

Thanks, GB. I thought Olympia was one of the most beautiful places we visited, although Delphi was pretty spectacular as well.

We didn't make Delphi that time but it's on the list for next...
