Just out of pure curiosity..does anyone know if the 'Hole in the wall' pub is still along 'the front'?
Didn't the Kursaal Flyers who had a 'chart hit' in the 70s..(I think)..with the single "Little does she know that I know (that she knows that I know)" or simular..
..come from Southend?..anyone remember?..

Hmmm... not quite sure about the pub, but yes, the Kursaal Flyers did come from Southend
