Basic slope "rules" include but are not limited to the following:

1) Person coming from uphill side is responsible for safe overtaking
2) Stop only where you are clearly visible, not behind corners, humbs etc, preferably at the side of the slope
3) Choose slopes that suit your ability level
4) Slow down in crowded areas, bad weather, poor snow conditions etc
5) Don't cut in lift lines (unless you are German, who are supposed to do it)
6) Use common sense
