A Conversation for Surviving the Winter in a Student Household

Fly south for the winter...

Of course you could always inflict yourself upon your parents for the xmas break, if you have that option that is.

What else are they for?

No need to fly south for the winter,go north.
Russia would fit you well in terms of warm-keeping and such(I am not sure about education).
If there is one way authorities there keep people contented in winter, that is the heating! No matter that it is -20 C outside, but it is always + 25 C in flats.
My English friend can subscribe to that.He said that his most favourable impression of Russia is that one can walk around in shorts inside while in winter. He lived in Moscow for 6 month,so his observation on this score is well worth noting.
And monthly instalments for heating are out of this world.I pay 7 quid for 800 square footage.
You dont have to burn money on heating, burn heat instead.
