Protection ? I'm sure I don't know what you mean.

A baseball bat perhaps ?
A gas mask ?
Some kind of encounter suit ?

Put it this way i'm not talking toothpaste (though it may be a good idea to brush your toothypegs before hand)

I was thinking more along the line of a jimmy hat

A hat *and* an umbrella?

Surely that's a bit of overkill...

Demon Drawer

Know if the date is a punctual or late getting ready. I once turned up for a first date on time at her flat only to have her greet me at the door a minute later having just gotten out of the shower.

So be prepared to wait while they get ready or better still find out from thier friends whether to turn up on time or give some leeeway.

I know I may get slated for this but.. i've found girls are almost always late for a date (dont know what us blokes are like)

The reason for this, I have no idea, perhaps they like to make us sweat a little or perhaps they want to make sure we've arrived smiley - biggrin

I almost always assume a date will be a little late so never arrive early for a date, anyway in this world of mobile phones problems with punctuality can easily be resolved.

The Ghost of Polidari

Actually, recently I've been the one who's usually late and the ladies have been on time (well, of the four first dates I had this year, three of them I got there second and the only one I got there first and had to wait was the girl I liked least. No idea what this is proving by the way, and it certainly doesn't have any bearing on whether to carry a condom or not, but just thought I'd mention it).

Anyway, it was fourth time lucky so hopefully no more first dates for me in the forseeable future smiley - winkeye.

Never needed a condom on a first date, by the way, but I guess it felt good knowing I had one handy just in case smiley - biggrin.
