Despite having a little red devil looking over my shoulder repeating "you said you were not a trekkie. he he he..."

I hope you don't mind a couple of suggestions

>Ferengi women in society changed and they became more accepted as equals.

I think, from meagre recollection of DS9, it was only Quark who was forced to accept his mother in clothes, as well as her successful dalliance with profit-making. He is merely resigning himself to the strength of his mother, following the example of his dead father and wimpish brother. There does not seem to be any relaxing of the rules for women within the broader Ferengi society - perhaps the point being that the suffragette movement had begun with the actions of one...

>The Ferengi have no sense of honour.

"adherence to a conventional standard of conduct" (OED)
Surely the argument is that honour is what a society makes it rather than our narrow "Federation" definition. Also think of our maxim "honour among thieves" - there seems to be space for all to have a moral/ethical code - whether deemed acceptable or not.

happy wednesday...

the ferengi don't have honour as they are willing to step on anyone to gain profit, and women became equal in the last season of DS9, with women being allowed to do business and wear clothes in public.
